This is the Market half of The Basque Market. A stocked deli case, a wall of Basque and Spanish wines, and shelves of imported goods. Locals stop in for a bottle and a baguette on the way home. Visitors stop in for a souvenir they actually want to keep. Either way, you'll find what you came for and probably something you didn't know you needed.

IMPORTED BASQUE PANTRY GOODS
Smoked paprika and saffron. Tinned mussels, anchovies, and bonito. Sherry vinegars and unfiltered olive oils. Jarred piquillo peppers, jamón, chorizo, Manchego, Marcona almonds, and the Basque candies nobody else in Idaho carries. If it's on our shelves, it's because we cook with it ourselves, or our family back home does.

Take the pan home. Our paella kits include the rice, Saffron, Chorizo, and a printed family recipe — everything you need but the patience and a hungry table. Available from two-person and party sizes, year-round. Come to the Market to inquire about a Paella kit, we will customize one just for you.

You'll find wines from regions like Rioja and Ribera del Duero, bottles of Albariño, Txakolina, Tempranillo, Cava, Vermouth, Cider, and a few deep cuts from producers your local sommelier hasn't heard of yet. We taste everything we sell. We know our importers and winemakers by first name. And we'll happily talk you out of the bottle you came in for if there's a better one for the meal you're making.
