The Basque Market offers a variety of cooking classes/wine tastings each month. We can also customize a private class for you and your friends or colleagues! We taste three to four wines from the Iberian Peninsula. You’ll not only learn some great recipes, but also a fair amount about the wines of this region.
Arrive at 5:45pm for light tapas and wine tasting. Instruction for the class will begin promptly at 6:15pm.
Classes start at $40/person, paid in advance and are non-refundable. If for some reason you can’t make it, feel free to send a friend in your place.

Learn how to make the national dish of Spain! In this class we teach you the traditional techniques for making delicious chicken, chorizo and seafood paella. You will also learn how to make our yummy olive tapenade. This class fills up quickly so sign up today!
Solomo & Tapas Class
Traditional Solomo (pork loin) is a great recipe to have in your repertoire for both hearty dinners and tapas. Learn how to make this flavorful roast along with a delicious piquillo pepper chutney and beer braised chorizos with caramelized onions!
Tortilla and Red Bean –Chorizo Soup
Tortilla Patatas, the famous egg and potato omelet of Spain, may seem intimidating to make, but with a few easy tricks, you will be making them just like Amuma. Learn how to make traditional tortillas patatas along with other variations. Add a lesson on our famous Read Bean and Chorizo soup, and you’ll have a light but warming meal, perfect for those cold winter nights.
