CLASSES

The Basque Market offers two cooking classes/wine tastings each month. We can also customize a private class for you and your friends or colleagues! We taste three wines from the Iberian Peninsula. You’ll not only learn some great recipes, but also a fair amount about the wines of this region.

Classes begin at 6pm and include tapas, a tasting of 3-4 wines, and of course, you get to eat whatever we make during the class.  Classes start at $35/person, paid in advance and are non-refundable.

Tempting Tapas Class
FULL May 22nd, or May 29th
An interactive class that teaches you how to make party pleasing tapas. You will learn how to make our addictive croquetas and also pimento walnut spread.

Paella Class
FULL May 8th, FULL June 5th, July 1st, July 10th, or August 21st
Learn the traditional techniques of preparing delicious seafood, chorizo, and chicken paella. You will also learn how to make olive tapenade. This class fills up quickly so sign up today!

Summer Sippers & No Cook Tapas
July 8th
During the dog days of summer you need a cool drink in your hand and an easy meal prepared without the oven! In this class learn how to make Sangria Blanco (white wine sangria) and our Musu Cocktail (Cava kissed with apricot). You will also design your own Banderillas and learn how to make Piquillo Pepper Cheese Spread.

Basque Picnic Class
August 7th
Prepare the perfect picnic for family and friends! You will learn how to make Smoky Piquillo Stuffed Eggs, Ensalada Rusa (Basque potato salad), and Smoked Solomo (tender marinated pork tenderloin).

In advance: $15/person; At the door: $20/person.
Discover the delight of seven summer sippers, all at super affordable prices. The selected wines are perfect for hot summer days that stretch into warm summer nights. Tasting is accompanied by light tapas, and at the end of the night save 10% on featured wines.

PRIVATE PARTIES

Let us do the work while you enjoy a great times with family, friends, or co-workers!  Host your own party at the Market.  We will prepare the food and provide the drinks, as well as clean up afterwords!  Ask us about different options such as tapas, paella, or a cider house dinner.
