CLASSES
The Basque Market offers two cooking classes/wine tastings each month. We will also add private classes for groups of 18 or more, which turn out to be great fun for larger groups. We taste three wines from the Iberian Peninsula. You’ll not only learn some great recipes, but also a fair amount about the wines of this region.
Classes begin at 6pm and include tapas, a tasting of 3-4 wines, and of course you get to eat whatever we make during the class. Classes are $35/person, paid in advance and are non-refundable.
March 7, 2012: Easter Lamb Class
You will learn to prepare a roast leg of lamb over a bed of potatoes using Basque herbs and spices. You will also learn how to make one of our favorite desserts, rice pudding.
March 21, 2012: Paella Class
One of The Basque Market’s most popular classes! Learn the traditional techniques of preparing delicious paella. You will also learn how to make olive tapenade. This class fills up quickly so sign up today!
April 11, 2012: Tapas Class
Learn how to make a selection of The Basque Market’s favorite tapas. Layered tortillas, braised chorizos, and piquillo cheese spread!

May 9, 2012: Sangria & Tapas Class
An enjoyable night of makeing- and drinking- white wine sangria! Stuffed mushrooms and smoky white bean spread are two delightful tapas that you will also learn how to make.

Let us do the work while you enjoy a great times with family, friends, or co-workers! Host your own party at the Market. We will prepare the food and provide the drinks, as well as clean up afterwords! Ask us about different options such as tapas, paella, or a cider house dinner.
