The Basque Market offers a variety of cooking classes/wine tastings each month. We can also customize a private class for you and your friends or colleagues! We taste three to four wines from the Iberian Peninsula. You’ll not only learn some great recipes, but also a fair amount about the wines of this region.
Classes begin at 6pm and include tapas, a tasting of 3-4 wines, and of course, you get to eat whatever we make during the class. Classes start at $35/person, paid in advance and are non-refundable.

Braised Lamb and Spanish Flan
March 19th- $45/person
A great way to learn how to prepare lamb! In this class we will teach you how to make lamb braised in a rich red wine, rosemary, and garlic sauce. For dessert, learn how to make a traditional caramel flan that is smooth and creamy.
Gabias & Chorizo-Garlic Green Beans
Learn how to prepare pork tenderloin medallions smothered in a creamy spinach bechamel and topped with piquillo peppers and finished with a crunchy topping. As a side, make green beans prepared with garlic and chorizo! Perfect for Easter dinner.
Stuffed Eggs, 3 Ways
Bite sized bombs of deliciousness! You will learn how to turn a classic appetizer into something exciting by stuffing eggs with three different fillings: spicy shrimp-tuna, chorizo, and basque peppers.
Chorizos & Sidra Tasting
In this exploratory class you will sample and learn about chorizos from Spain. We’ll teach you various cooking methods and recipes utilizing the diverse styles of chorizo. Chorizo tasting will accompanied by Basque sidra (hard cider) tasting!

A great way to learn about new wines from the Iberian Peninsula! Explore the varied regions and grape varietals of the Basque Country, Spain, France, or Portugal.
