The Basque Market offers a variety of cooking classes/wine tastings each month. We can also customize a private class for you and your friends or colleagues! We taste three to four wines from the Iberian Peninsula. You’ll not only learn some great recipes, but also a fair amount about the wines of this region.
Classes begin at 6pm and include tapas, a tasting of 3-4 wines, and of course, you get to eat whatever we make during the class. Classes start at $35/person, paid in advance and are non-refundable.

Everything is better on a Skewer! Basques refer to any tapa as a “Pintxo”, but in this class we will take the word pintxo in a much more literal approach. In this class we will make delightful skewers of savory Buttafara sausage and Guindilla pepper along with Sherried caramelized onion with Idiazable cheese. We will finish things off with Pintxo Elcano, lamb skewers dusted with spices from around the world!
