The Basque Market offers two cooking classes/wine tastings each month. We will also add private classes for groups of 15 or more, which turn out to be great fun for larger groups. We taste three wines from the Iberian Peninsula. You’ll not only learn some great recipes, but also a fair amount about the wines of this region.

Classes

Classes begin at 6pm and include tapas, a tasting of 3-4 wines, and of course you get to eat whatever we make during the class.  Classes are $30/person, paid in advance and are

September 9:  Cider House Dinner Event

An all inclusive dinner that is much more of an experience!  Enjoy a traditional cider house dinner with caramelized onion tortilla, cod with fried onions, giant steaks, cheese, membrillo and walnuts, and of course a lot of cider and wine! This event fills up fast, reserve your spot today! $40/person+ gratuity.

 

 

October 14:  Lamb Dinner Event

Join us for an exceptional Spanish dining experience. This dinner event will feature braised lamb with garlic smashed potatoes, tuna and krab stuffed peppers on mixed greens, jamon serrano and blue cheese tortilla, and assorted croquetas! Spanish red and white wines that pair amazingly with this meal will be served as well. $40/person + gratuity.

 

 

Basque Sheepherders Breakfast

Come enjoy a traditional sheepherders breakfast once a month at the market!  The menu includes chorizos, Basque potatoes, egg pipparade, sheepherders bread, and churros.  We will have bottomless Basque bloody marys and sangria blanco as well! 

 

First come first serve, 10am-1pm.  $10/person, add $5 for bottomless drinks.
